Metals
Nizami Brothers have a rich history in dealing with numerous metals relating to the steel industry. Metals form an integral part of many steel products, and it is one of our strongholds that we have been one of the leading importers of metals to cater to the local demands and clients.
Lead
Nizami Brothers is one of the leading importers of lead in Pakistan and supply it locally to the market and specific clients across the country. Lead is a soft metal suitable for casting, sometimes referred to as white metal. It has a low melting point, which can be as low as 392°F, and a low viscosity making it suitable for casting applications. This alloy increases the corrosion resistance of its base materials. Lead is used mainly in the manufacturing of electrical equipment such as lead-coated power and telephone cables and storage batteries.
Aluminium
Nizami Brothers is one of the leading importers of Aluminium and supply it locally to the market and specific clients across Pakistan. Aluminum is commonly alloyed with copper, manganese, silicon, magnesium, and zinc for further hardness and durability. This base metal is used in the food and chemical industry applications, airframes, vehicle paneling, structures exposed to seawater, mine cages, pressure vessels, road tankers, transporting petroleum, and more. Aluminum has great recycling potential and is often re-used for the same application for which it was originally manufactured. Its strength, flexibility, and lightweight make it ideal for the building and construction of window frames, building structures, roofs, etc.
Zinc
Nizami Brothers is one of the leading importers of Zinc and supply it locally to the market at large and specific clients across Pakistan. These alloys exhibit high resistance to corrosion hence a great deal of zinc production is used for galvanizing steel. They make a great metal choice for the casting process due to their low melting point. Zinc alloys are durable metals that last between 50 and 100 years before needing to be replaced.
Nickel
Nizami Brothers is one of the leading importers of Nickel and supplies it locally to the market and specific clients across Pakistan. It is hard, malleable, ductile, and to an extent ferromagnetic (up to 360 °C). It has a fair electrical conductivity (25% that of copper) and heat conductivity. It is used mainly for electroforming, electroplating, and as an alloying agent in stainless steel. It is one of the main alloying agents in stainless steel. Nickel alloys are typically highly resistant to corrosion and are a great choice for casting applications.
Tin
Nizami Brothers are informed importers and distributors of Tin- a chemical element with an atomic number 50 and symbol Sn. Tin is non-toxic, ductile, malleable, and adaptable to all kinds of cold-working, such as rolling, spinning, and extrusion. The low melting point of tin and its firm adhesion to clean surfaces of iron, steel, copper, and copper alloys facilitate its use as an oxidation-resistant coating material. It is a post-transition metal which is very useful in many fields. At Nizami Brothers, we have been manufacturing Tin Products for our clients for the longest. Our labs are equipped with the necessary instruments to produce high-quality Tin Products for our customers. We have a large facility to conduct our operations in developing Tin products.
Copper
Nizami Brothers is a proud importer of copper and supply all copper-based products to government and private clients as per their requirements. The purity is 99.9%, cathode copper. Copper has the best electrical conductivity of all the elements. It is also a very good thermal conductor and is readily alloyed with other metals such as lead, tin, and zinc for foundry applications to produce, among other goods, products for the transmission of water such as valves. Due to its high thermal conductivity, it is commonly used in heat exchangers, heating vessels, and appliances. A high electrical conductivity makes it an electrical conductor in various shapes and forms for various applications. Good corrosion resistance makes copper a good choice for providing a coating on steel prior to nickel and chromium plating. High ductility means it is easily cold worked, folded, and spun, however, it requires annealing after cold working as it loses its ductility.
